The Cultura Interactive Story System was envisioned as a means to offer stories in which a character’s record sheet and the player’s perception of their character can be adequately represented. We aim to develop a system through which a player can experience tactical combat, imaginative, free-formed magic, and dramatic events in which a character’s development is the penultimate experience of play.
